1. GENERAL PROVISIONS
1.1. These Terms of Service, the "Terms," establish the rules for access to and use of the services provided by Ilya Grigoryevich Tkachenko, an individual, TIN 230812699299, registered in the Russian Federation, the "Operator," by an individual using the services, the "User."
1.2. These Terms apply to the following services, together the "Services":
- the website at https://spaceclipse.com, the "Website";
- the Spaceclipse online game, the "Game";
- the User account area;
- the game launcher and game client;
- the game servers and related infrastructure.
1.3. The Game is a two-dimensional massively multiplayer online game, 2D MMO, with an open space setting and the ability for players to interact through in-game chat.
1.4. The servers hosting the Services are located in the Russian Federation.
1.5. These Terms are a separate document and do not replace the End User License Agreement governing the use of the Game software. The End User License Agreement is published at: https://spaceclipse.com/legal/eula.
1.6. Acceptance of the Terms is performed by ticking the corresponding checkbox during account registration, confirming that the User has read and agrees to these Terms, the End User License Agreement, and the Privacy Policy. Use of the Services without registration and explicit acceptance is not allowed.
1.7. If the User does not agree to the Terms, the User must refrain from registering and using the Services.
2. TERMS AND DEFINITIONS
- Account means the User account created during registration and including the nickname, email address, and other related data.
- Game means the Spaceclipse online game available through the game client.
- Website means the website available at https://spaceclipse.com.
- Launcher means software that provides downloading, updating, and launching of the game client, as well as User authentication.
- Game client means the Game software downloaded through the Launcher and installed on the User's device.
- Nickname means the displayed name of the User in the Game and in the account area.
- Chat means the in-game text communication function between players in real time.
- Mute means a temporary restriction on the ability to send messages in Chat.
- Account suspension means a temporary or permanent restriction of access to the Account and/or the Services.
- Cheating means the use of software or technical means that provide an unfair gameplay advantage or the exploitation of Game vulnerabilities.
3. REGISTRATION AND ACCOUNT
3.1. Registration of an account is required to access the Game and personalized Website features.
3.2. During registration, the User must:
- provide a valid and current email address;
- choose a nickname that complies with section 4 of these Terms;
- create a password that provides a sufficient level of account security.
3.3. The User is responsible for keeping account credentials confidential. All actions performed using the User's account are deemed performed by the User.
3.4. In the event of unauthorized access to the account, the User must immediately notify the Operator at: privacy@spaceclipse.com.
3.5. The Operator is not liable for damage caused by unauthorized use of the account if the User failed to properly protect credentials or did not timely notify the Operator of the incident.
3.6. The User may have multiple accounts provided this does not violate these Terms. Use of multiple accounts to abuse game mechanics, obtain an unfair advantage, or circumvent active sanctions is a violation of the Terms.
3.7. Transfer of the account to third parties, sale, exchange, or other disposal of the account is prohibited.
3.8. The User warrants that the User uses a secure password and complies with requirements for protecting the account.
4. NICKNAME REQUIREMENTS
4.1. A User nickname must not contain:
- offensive, obscene, or indecent words or expressions;
- discriminatory statements regarding persons on the basis of race, nationality, sex, religion, sexual orientation, or other characteristics;
- political slogans, calls, or statements;
- religious expressions or elements capable of offending religious feelings;
- advertising materials, links to third-party resources, or products;
- designations impersonating other Users, employees, or representatives of the Operator and capable of misleading others.
4.2. The Operator may require a nickname to be changed if it does not meet these requirements and, if the User refuses, apply appropriate sanctions.
5. ACCOUNT DELETION
5.1. The User may delete the account at any time by sending a request to: privacy@spaceclipse.com.
5.2. After a deletion request is received:
- access to the account is blocked immediately;
- personal data is deleted or anonymized within the periods established by the Privacy Policy.
5.3. Account deletion is irreversible. All game progress, achievements, and related data are deleted. Restoration of an account after deletion is not guaranteed.
5.4. Messages in the public game chat posted before account deletion may be retained in anonymized form in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
6. AGE RESTRICTIONS
6.1. The Services are intended for persons who are at least 14 years old.
6.2. By registering in the Services, the User confirms that the User has reached the age of 14.
6.3. Persons aged from 14 to 18, as well as other persons who do not have full civil capacity, may use the Services with the consent of parents or other legal representatives.
6.4. If the Operator becomes aware that an account was created by a person below the permitted age without proper consent of a legal representative, that account may be suspended or deleted.
7. GAME CLIENT AND LAUNCHER
7.1. The Spaceclipse game client and launcher are distributed free of charge exclusively through the official Website: https://spaceclipse.com. Downloading the client from other sources is not official and is done at the User's own risk.
7.2. The Launcher provides download and installation of the game client, User authentication, updates, and launching of the Game.
7.3. Use of the client is governed by a separate End User License Agreement: https://spaceclipse.com/legal/eula.
7.4. In the future, the launcher or client may contain an anti-cheat module that collects technical data, with the list and purposes described in the Privacy Policy. The Operator will notify Users about implementation and the composition of collected data. Refusal to install such updates or disabling anti-cheat modules may lead to restriction of access to the Game or certain of its features.
8. RULES FOR USING THE WEBSITE
8.1. When using the Website, the User is prohibited from:
- attempting unauthorized access to servers, databases, or other infrastructure of the Services;
- carrying out automated collection of data from the Website, including parsing and scraping;
- intentionally creating excessive load on the servers of the Services;
- bypassing or disrupting protection mechanisms, including Cloudflare Turnstile;
- using scripts, bots, or automated tools for registration, authentication, or other actions on the Website;
- placing or transmitting malicious software.
9. GAME RULES
9.1. Cheating and Exploitation of Vulnerabilities
Prohibited:
- using software that provides an unfair gameplay advantage;
- exploiting game errors, bugs, to gain an advantage or cause harm to the gameplay of other Users;
- interfering with the operation of the game client or servers;
- modifying, intercepting, or spoofing network traffic between the client and the server;
- modifying game client files, except where expressly permitted by the Operator.
9.2. Bots and Automation
Use of any programs or scripts that automate gameplay, including autofarming, autoclickers, macros, and similar tools, is prohibited.
9.3. Unfair Play
Prohibited:
- using multiple accounts to obtain unfair advantages, manipulate game mechanics, or cause harm to other Users;
- deliberately taking actions that worsen the gameplay experience of other Users.
9.4. Chat Rules
It is prohibited to publish in Chat:
- insults, humiliation, threats, and harassment directed at other Users or third parties;
- discriminatory statements on any basis;
- extremist, terrorist, or other unlawful content;
- sexual or pornographic content;
- advertising and promotion of third-party services, products, or projects;
- personal data of other persons without their consent;
- spam, meaning repeated identical or similar messages within a short period of time;
- links or materials capable of causing harm to other Users.
The User is solely responsible for the content of posted messages.
9.5. Chat Moderation and Automated Filtering Systems
9.5.1. To ensure User safety and compliance with the laws of the Russian Federation, the Operator may moderate Chat.
9.5.2. Moderation may be carried out:
- automatically, using software algorithms, filters, and other technical means of message text analysis;
- manually, by the Operator or persons authorized by the Operator.
9.5.3. Automated systems may:
- analyze the text of messages;
- temporarily block the sending of a message;
- automatically restrict the ability to send messages, mute;
- record messages in logs for subsequent analysis.
9.5.4. Use of automated filtering does not guarantee detection of all violations.
9.5.5. Chat messages are stored in logs in accordance with the Privacy Policy and may be used as evidence of violations of these Terms.
9.5.6. The Operator may, without prior notice:
- delete individual messages;
- restrict access to Chat;
- apply sanctions provided in section 10 of these Terms.
10. SANCTIONS FOR VIOLATIONS
10.1. General Provisions
10.1.1. Sanctions may be applied both on the basis of automated filtering and analysis systems and on the basis of manual review by the Operator.
10.1.2. Grounds for applying a sanction include Service logs, Chat messages, technical data, and other evidence of a violation.
10.1.3. The Operator may apply sanctions without prior notice to the User if this is necessary to ensure the security of the Services or other Users.
10.2. Violations of Chat Rules

The Operator may apply a stricter measure in case of repeated or gross violations.
10.3. Cheating and Interference with the Game

10.4. Other Violations
For other violations of these Terms, the Operator may apply:
- a warning;
- temporary account suspension;
- restriction of individual features;
- deletion of individual messages;
- permanent account suspension.
10.5. Appeal
10.5.1. The User may send an appeal to privacy@spaceclipse.com.
10.5.2. The Operator reviews the appeal within 30 calendar days.
10.5.3. The decision made as a result of the internal review is final within the administrative procedures of the Service. The User retains the right to apply to competent authorities and courts where provided by law.
11. NO MONETIZATION
11.1. As of the publication date of these Terms:
- use of the Services is entirely free of charge;
- there are no in-game purchases;
- there is no advertising on the Website or in the Game.
11.2. If paid features or in-game purchases are introduced, the Operator will publish separate terms governing the relevant relations in advance.
- CHANGES TO AND TERMINATION OF THE SERVICES
12.1. The Operator may at any time without prior notice:
- change game balance, mechanics, and rules;
- add, change, or remove Service features;
- temporarily suspend operation of the Services for technical maintenance, correction of malfunctions, or updates.
12.2. If a decision is made to permanently terminate the Services, the Operator will notify Users at least 30 calendar days before termination by posting a notice on the Website and/or by sending notice to the email address linked to the account.
12.3. The Operator is not liable for loss of game progress or other data due to termination of the Services for reasons beyond the reasonable control of the Operator, including force majeure or actions of third parties.
13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
13.1. The Services are provided "as is" without any express or implied warranties.
13.2. The Operator does not warrant:
- uninterrupted and error-free operation of the Services;
- constant availability of the Services;
- preservation of game progress in the event of technical failures;
- conformity of the Services to the expectations of a specific User.
13.3. To the maximum extent permitted by the laws of the Russian Federation, the Operator shall not be liable for:
- indirect, incidental, or consequential damages;
- lost profits;
- loss of data;
- harm caused by technical failures, actions of third parties, or force majeure.
13.4. Since use of the Services is free of charge, the Operator's aggregate liability to the User is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
- GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION
14.1. These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Russian Federation.
14.2. All disputes are subject to settlement through negotiations. Before applying to court, the User must send the Operator a written claim to privacy@spaceclipse.com, stating the substance of the demands and the proposed method of settlement.
14.3. The time limit for review of a claim is 30 calendar days from receipt.
14.4. If no agreement is reached in the pre-trial procedure, the dispute shall be submitted to the court at the place of registration of the Operator.
15. AMENDMENTS TO THE AGREEMENT
15.1. The Operator may unilaterally amend these Terms. The current version is published at: https://spaceclipse.com/legal/tos and indicates the effective date of the amendments.
15.2. If material changes are made, Users are notified by posting a message on the Website and/or by email.
15.3. Continued use of the Services after a new version of the Terms takes effect means the User agrees to the amendments. If the User does not agree, the User must stop using the Services and delete the account.
